This is exactly what I have been looking for. Adding in the chroma/luma (contrast/brightness/etc.) controls through the remote is a total b*tch. Buttons just get too confusing. Having it so pressing a button would popup a menu (even where whatever is selected lets you do a left right thing) would be GREAT.
That would completely make my PC into a media powerhouse.

I think the major utility that its like URGENT its a OSDPop-up that allow me to easily setup functions. Like in most of TV or even the Creative Remote...
So for example i can setup a playlist for winamp/sonique... list of videos that i want to play... etc. A menu of programs that i use...
It will solve millions of problems...
thanx in advance for your patience and attention...

Hi all, (this is my first posting here)
I think this would be a great feature.
It should be possible to open a little list with programms or other commands with one button and then with another (or two) to select the needed command.
It should be an interactive OSD.
I think OSDmenu under Linux is a similar project http://freshmeat.net/projects/osdmenu/
Here you can download the files with source code under the GPL! Perhaps it helps. The programm seems to be easy to use but good!

Is this possible?
I think it wouldn't be too difficult to program a plugin like this, but i can't do it.
