This is my first attempt: to learn auto Control, what to buy, and what to read to learn to do (out of the room) remote controls for the BIG Crt Monitor in the Living room. I have a high powered internment Computer I built, I have located around the Corner so I don't have to hear it's air noise. I know nothing of IR control other then a hand held remote, Of which I have two many of with all the different systems.
I respectfully request all of you that have gone thru this, to please take a few min's and write me and relate your hard learned tips. Some of the items you know and won't to tell me may be to un-advanced to post on this list, so I don't mind getting e-mails if any one prefer. Thank you

I would recommend the MX-600 remote by Home Theater Master if you want an RF remote. Otherwise I'd recommend the MX-500 for an IR remote. Check out http://www.usbuirt.com You could place the USB-UIRT in the same room as your TV/equipment and run the USB cable around the corner into the computer. Then you hit the USBUIRT with IR to get signals to Girder and Girder uses the USBUIRT to send signals to your TV/equipment.
