I am using MyTheatre and myHTPC. I have myhtpc launch MT fullscreen when i select a channel from the guide. When i want to go back to the guide I press the guide button which has the command:
O.S. tab
'Execute' c:\Program Files\MyTheatre\MyTheatre.exe"
Step Size textbox - "/remote fullscreen".
Startup Options at "default".
My problem is that it takes a long time (about 2-4sec) for girder to execute this command. Is there anyway to do this and have it much more instant?

Girder will send the command to the os immediately. This may just reflect the time it takes for the program to start up

wow, thanks for being so quick
This may just reflect the time it takes for the program to start up
The program is already started, all i am trying to do is minimize / maximize instantly. Its quick if I double click on the video so i know its not a problem with the programs.

Can you use the Maximize command on the Window tab instead? Be sure to target the right application.
The execute command on the OS tab will execute the .exe you tell it. This new instance of the applicaiton will look at the parameters you passed and tell the other instance to maximize. Bottom line: "This may just reflect the time it takes for the program to start up" is correct.

Mytheatre uses some non standard windows I think - when you try to get girder to minimize it, the window shrinks into the bottom left corner instead of going back to the tooltray like it should.
This is what I did:
The unelegant solution for now, is to use window relative mouse moves to right click on mt, then move the mouse down & over & click where needed to activate the menu item you want. In my case, girder checks for TDVBMainForm window. If not there, we run mtstart. If it is there, mouse moves x50y50 down from top left corner of MT, then right clicks, then pause 100ms (for menu to draw), then move x80y80, left click, move x300y270, left click. Now I can toggle mt to and from tooltray from girder. Unelegant, but works 100% for now.
If someone knows a better way, I'm anxious to learn.
