Popping up of a dialog box as a trigger for an event?

Is it possible that a certain event can be triggered by the showing up of a Windows dialog box. For example you have an "error message" with a certain name and class that triggers a series of Girder events?

The TaskSwitch plugin may work. I dont know what file creates those windows but TaskSwitch will alert you whenever an app takes focus with an eventstring of the file name of the executable.

Unfortunately the showing up of a Windows dialog box is not recognized by TaskSwitch as something to be learnt: Any alternative?
