Ron needs to say if this is intended or a bug but ...

the work-around I use for this is using shift+insert instead of ctrl+v. Give it a try. :smile:

On all of my systems, Shift+insert is the just about the same as ctrl+v. Darn. This may be a language specific thing on Windows.

N_BugTitle:

How to recreate the bug

Conclusion

where N is the level of the bug (0 means nevermind, 10 means Very important bug) it would help u to juge the importance of the bug report.

And HERE THE FIRST:

1_Copy/Paste :

Right Click => Rename
on a command
Then Ctrl+C to copy the command name
Create a new command
Right Click => Rename
Then Ctrl+V to paste the command name
Then see the bugg.

copy/paste command names, will give us a real winning of time.

4_Apply Button

This is not really a but, but it confuse the user, push him to make mistake, and make him to lose precious time.

With so many commands, when u change a parameter's value, Apply button still gray, and so, not accessible. In this case, u must choose an other cammand (anyone) then choose again the command you want to use, and then Apply button, become Black, and so accessible.

May you make this button always available, we would win so many time, and avoid any mistale.

8_KEYS COMMANDS

Many times, when i try to use a key command (like SPACE, to pause video)
Girder's status bar display : window not found

9_States
Stranges things happens !!!!
I've created few commands, set to them different "State count" and "State" values.
And if i copy those commands, then if i try to change states and/or state count values. Modifications are not saved. (i mean, that if i return so the edit state box, value still be as before my modification. It has pusshed me in soo many mistakes !!!, and i still don't know how to solve it. (must recreate commands)
______________________________
9_States(2) :

Stranges thing happens with states : Sometime states setted to commands via the "setting states box" changes by theirself.

The Probleme doesn"t appear on "state count" parameter.

The Probleme appear on "Begin State" parameter that change by himself, i don't know exactly why, and when, but it's often.

I guess that "goto" command, create many conflict in that bad way. see my bug report about "goto" command below.

3_Goto :

I've created a multigroup containing many commands, each one with a different state(so are not supposed to be launched at the same time).

When i use a "goto" command that go to one of my multigroup's subcommands, then all subcommands are launched like if they all had the same state value. It looks to change "begin state" parameters too !!!

1_Question

This is not a bug, but it is a Pb for me, and probably, for many users.

If i've understood Question command's behavours, When the command Question is executed, question is displayed for few seconds. If user press the remote Button again, First command setted, will be launched, else, Second command setted will be Launched.

If i've made a mistake, thank u to talk to me about that, else thk to read below.

Now my PB : each buttons of my remote can send 2 IR Codes. 1 when pressing, one other When releasing the button. SO ... When I press button, Question command is well launched, but, when i release my remote button, to press it again to confirm the question, then remote send the second IR code, and then, Gilder thinks that i've answered : NO

So I Never can Answer YES to questions.

So i will ask u for few new features of this command :

1) Can we have a parameter to set the IR Code that will Answer YES?

2) Can we have a parameter, to set the timeout?

Note : If u thin, that it is not possible to add the "Yes IR Code" parameter to the command, then, i would like to suggest u to add this feature to General preference.
Learn Yes Button,
Learn No Button.
Those buttons will be used by Question command for Answers.
