Hello all,
I'm Joe and i'm new to the girder world!
I have a quite up to date PC and I have recently got a marmitek Pc RF remote control, I didn't like the software it came with, so I got girder and planned on using it to re-assign all the buttons to work with my own prefference programs! Seemed straight forward enough, but now i'm stuck. The remote has alot of standard buttons, i.e vol up and down, number buttons, mouse control etc.. But I cant seem to get them to assign to standard controls, they seem to assign to programme only type controls(i.e only work in one programme). Now i know it should be possible, but i can't find out how! I have a multimedia keyboard and the buttons on there can control any programme, i would like the remote to do the same! I run PowerDVD, Musicmatch jukebox, Aver DVB-t, Media Player and the odd other small programme. Any ideas?
