Indeed they include an MD5 signature,... So best to check for viruses on your computer,.. or give the link to the file that you downloaded then i'll give it a check.

Then please redownload and see if the problem persists, if so zip the executable and send it to me.

I doubt updated virus definitions will help. I beleive Ron's executables include MD5 (http://www.fourmilab.ch/md5/) digital "signature" checking to detect file coruption or tampering.

Out of curiousity, where did you dl the file from?

He says he got from this site so if he managed to unzip it without problems, I would have thought the only other option is that it has been tampered with once on his computer. i.e. a virus of some sort piggybacking the exicutable or what ever they do.

Hi,

I've downloaded the latest version of girder from this website and when I launch the soft, I have a msg saying "This executable has been tampered with, it is not safe to use it. Please contact abuse@girder.nl"

What can I do ????

http://www.girder.nl/download.php?Link=167

Here's the link... I directly clicked on your donwload page and that was it.

By the way, no recent virus scan prog (Norton here) has found anything...

And I'm running the soft with my PCTV remote + the PCTV plug-in but no signal is recognized...

Ok, I've run NAV on the whole computer and Indeed there was the WIN95.CIH virus on it... The funny thing is that I got it when installing an old version of NAV thet couldn't detect it !!

There's no more "Tampered with" msg now, but my PCTV remote doesnt seem to be working with PCTV plug-in. I bought it 2 months ago (france).

Welcome back in Europe Ron !
