I just started building myself a HTPC, so I bought USB RedRat 3 and installed Girder. After some fiddling I manage to control the volume on my receiver - but only one step at a time.
When I hold down the Vol+/- buttons on my remote the tray icon is flashing and the commands is traversed (highlight) in Girder – but nothing happens on my receiver. When I click once the Volume is adjusted. So it isn’t user-friendly to use.
The way I have set it up in Girder is:
- Volume Up: Multigroup
- IR in: Eventstring that gets Vol+ IR signal
- Pause: Windows Command that pauses in 100ms
- IR out: Command that sends IR to receiver using RedRat3 plugin
I don’t know why I have to use the Pause command but it won’t work at all without it.
(To me it looks like Girder/RedRat cant get and send IR signals at the same time)
If I change the eventstring to a keypress and disable the pause command it works fine!
Anyone can help me to solve this problem, to make it repeat like original remote control function?
