Hallo
I´m working with an X10 Remote Control, shipped with Cyberlink Power Cinema and a Medion PC.
When I push a bottom, per example the 1 and let the bottom pushed down, girder shows the following three states:
"X10_DN_One", "X10_Up_One" and "X10_RT_One"
Can somebody tell me, how I can use with girder the three states? (the girder learning option allways takes the first one and though nothing happens, if keep the botton pressed, for example, to change the volume).
Thanks

Dn = Button Down
Rt = Repeating
Up = Up
Capture the Rt evetnt by pushing the button and then clicking the learn event.

Capturing the up command is a little trickier, it takes quick hands, but
I was able to do it. What you do is press the button on the remote, then very quickly press the learn button in girder and release the remote button before the rt commands start. It takes a few tries, but it works. I dont use the up command for much, but you can program all three actions separately if you like.

I have been working on a separate X10 plugin that allows you to learn the keyup/repeat event easily. However I need to know which keys are available on the remote. If you want I can make a version for your remote.

The easiest way to do key capture in this remote is to capture regular dn codes and than change it in an XML-editor.

Tor, thats the reason for a new plugin - you can select the events from a drop down box...

Mike, I know. But I haven't seen that plugin yet. Or is it out now? I have been using my method to program the system in the car (it's nice to use an RF remote there since it doesn't require line of sight - maybe I'll build it into the console between the front seats one day!).
