This is too funny ... or sad just depends on your disposition.
I started a htpc when my dvd player broke. Built out of spare parts it functioned .. just barely. 8)
At any rate 2 months after starting and alot of cash later I had a nice doorstop with a boat load of remotes, a keyboard and a mouse on my coffee table. This was too much so I decided to invest in a very expensive remote. The make doesn't matter I just wanted one remote to control tv cable pc with room to expand. So, I get this remote set it up and duh it can't do anywhere near what I need in the pc.
Now mind you I had girder downloaded but hadn't installed it, seemed too complicated. Spent a week looking for a program and as a last resort decided to try Girder 2 days ago. A few hours into messing with it and searching these foruums like a mad man. I actually started to understand it!!! OMG you can do anything with this prog! I was very excited and still am.
Anyway tonite at work is pretty boring so I'm rereading <for the 5th time at least> the online help pages. I'm muttering neat and wow and stuff in my office then I got to Actions /Girder hmmm enable/disable groups............................ROFL
