Good idea! I just downloaded it.
Just one thing that I can see that needs adding is a browse button for the command line.

Also, perhaps you could use GetWindowsDirectory API or something for those of us who are too lazy to change the default paths for file associations.
(I have a number of different versions of windows on my pc (c:windows, G:winnt, h:windows).

A friend of mine is developing a small HTPC-OS. Very simple but very usefull. U can configure is completely and it has a file-browser like OSDopen included. As soon as there is an early release i will post it here.

(program will be german as soon as theres a translation)

InfraRed Receiver programs, allow you to control your PC, like Girder, but there're many actions, that we can't do if our PC Screen is distant of us.

The main problem is when we want to load any file from hardisk or CDROM, to Winamp or MediaPlayer, in this case, we can configure Girder to use Explorer, but when we're far our PC the explorer fonts are impossible to read.

For this reason i created OSDOpenFile, this program give you absolutely control of your disk when your PC screen is in the other room corner.

This program is a clean solution for explore disks, directories or files and load directories or files in your programs: play songs or videos, view images, etc..., with your Infrared Remote Control!

sorry for the compression of Visual Basic DLL dependence files...

i can't upload files bigger than 150KB ...

to decompress the arj 50K files:

ODSOpenFile is written in Visual Basic (i don't like), because i don't have many time for create a realy good proyect on C++. Id like to make OSDOpenFile better... but i thinks at this moment its very USEFUL...
