Hi
I seem to have a rather complicated situation.
I got to PCīs in my House (lets call them "A" and "B")
"A" is sitting in my living room, working as a video player/TV recorder, "B" is my work and Game machine. Not to waste a whole PC , I use "A" for different Tasks, that I control via "B" trough Remotedesktop.
Now comes the Problem: after i connected to "a" via Remote, I have to log myself on again in my Living room - for that I have to use a keyboard. After I logged on to it, Girder is working, and I can control it fine with my remote.
I tried this approach some Time ago, but this doesn`t seem to work (either that, or nobody understands me):http://www.girder.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5932&highlight=

Now I want to try it diferently.
I created 2 user, One for Multimedia in my Living room, one for all the other Stuff trough Remotedesktop.
All I need now is a Way to switch Users with Girder - couldnīt find anything yet.
Maybe there is a way by creating a batchfile, that I can start?
Any Help is deeply welcome!

Hi

Have you had on MSDN about doing this. If there is a way to do this using VBScript or WScript then we should be able to do it from Girder.

Thanks for your reply.
Í nothing about VB Script or Stuff like that, so I donīt know if this is the way to go. And I have no clue what you tried to say at the first half of your reply, sorry.

Sorry  - everyone here has different levels of computer expertise...

I know I have seen this problem before. If you search here you might find out what they have done. I think one suggestion was to try VNC rather then remote desktop. Its free and easy to use. Girder will not be able to send key strokes to log you on or off.
