Have you tried using the Keyboard Ex plugin. http://www.girder.nl/download.php?link=150
This allows you to block keys that you don't want to go through to the OS. It works well for me on W2000 anyway. The way I've set it up is by triggering a command in the 'OnOpenGirder' event called suppress which calls the software plugin part to block the keys.

I'm currently running Windows XP and there are lots of multimedia keys (from a multimedia keyboard) mapped to OS wide taks like mute, volume, web browser, calculator... but they are mapped to keys marked with another function!
I've found Girder to be a great tool for replacing the bad drivers that comes with many MM keyboards, but with Win2k and XP there is this issue... can anyone help me blocking those keys please?

I didn't mention MM keyboard model because I'm not running any driver for it, this just seems to be a OS function!
