I know people have had this working, and I know people have had these same problems. so to those who have it working or who have fixed it, what can I do?

I have an ATI all in wonder radeon
the usual packard bell remote
latest girder downloaded
winlirc plugin
sendkeys 1.51 plugin

the remote and girder work great in winamp, powerdvd, etc. but as soon as I start ATI MMC 7.1 tv player winlirc and girder stop responding to any remote keypress. the commands for ATI MMC work if you manually test them but the remote is useless while atimmc.exe is running.

I also registered the ati .dll that was supposed to fix all this but it didnt do squat (supposedly it only fixed the dvd player?)

so wtf do I have to do ?

also I tried using the SFH 56 (or whatever) plugin, and ATI mmc responded to remote control commands, but every time I pressed a button the code was different, I tried making like 20 commands to just change the channel but that wasn't enough
