Hey Everyone
For all those who want to open the first file on a CD without knowing the name of the file can use this plugin called "First File".
All it does is place the name of the first file in a selected directory into a selected text register. The file name includes the entire path. The only two settings on the dialog box are selecting a register number 1-25, and entering the directory to be searched. (Make sure you include the trailing backslah. i.e. "D:")(oops, that extra backslah shouldn't be there). Then you can use the selected register to open the file as you see fit.
E-mail me marc.cohn@mkg.com if you are interested. I have sent the file to Ron, i suspect he will post it eventually.
Marc
