Hello all,
Before I even start this project I wanted to make sure it was possible.
1. Is it legal to use a second copy of girder for personnal use on a second machine? I know i can but I really appreciate all that girder has allowed me to do hehe.
2. On my home network: htpc and PC2
a. I want girder to be scheduled to check a folder for new files on HTPC.
b. If there are new files copy them to a new folder and name it on PC2 the new folder bit isn't that important just copying it to a designated folder would work.
c. Open the copied file with a dvd authoring tool like Ulead DVD MovieFactory or NeroVision Express then process it to dvd or harddrive if no dvd present.
What in my lazy sort of way figured
A. Just use XP to schedule a event. How to see if there are new files?---I was thinking a txt or xml file to compare or something. No idea how to do this!
B. If I get the new file names seems this would be pretty basic copy paste to PC2 if I can move stuff accross a network.
C. Once again if I have the file and folder name seems this wouldn't be too terribly hard..wether there is a blank dvd may be a problem...
Lol What am I talking about You peeps are gonna throw some script thingy at me that will make my head all fuzzy.
