First, I'm really glad you got it working.

However, I would expect the intra-character delay to do something similar. I wonder why it didn't?

Sorry you had to shout I was offline training for my Black Belt grading and now it over have only just got back into fiddling with my hometheatre again so sorry I was away for so long.

I have automated my Barco with girder rs232 codes to select inputs (which also turns it on) and to turn it off using standby.

I note the new plugin for rs232 is at release 2.3 I have been away too long.

If you need any more help let me know I will send you my email address...I am surprised I did not see your request on AVS as I was checking there once a week but typically in the HTPC forum.

Cheers Rick

Yessir, I found the solution...by searching in this forum on "Barco". I accidentally found a post from Rickd about controlling his Quadscan, and that gave me the idea - to create a multi group and send one command per subcommand (00, then 01 and so on). And that worked! So now I can control the Barco, automate the final bits of my HT and won't have to shell out 300 bucks for a Pronto I hate anyway (touch screen is terrible when you've got clumsy fingers...).

I'd like to thank Rickd for giving me the idea (and apologize for shouting for him both here and in the AVS Forum, though all messages shouting for help have been erased now). And now I go to bed! It's 1.30 AM here in Norway now and I need half an hour reading on the third Harry Potter book (I started on the first one a week ago and have been reading since - brilliant stuff!) in bed before I go to sleep.

Beats me. I bet it's some kind of conspiracy. Oh, yes, I've seen the grassy knoll and the window in the old school book storage building... (I was in Dallas two years ago, on my last trip to Texas. Usually I stop in San Antonio, to watch my Spurs.)
