Have been cracking along using this forum and have managed to get the remote working and to do the things i want. Namely use WMP9. to be able to shut it down and open it. Have been through the online help etc.
The only one thing that i can't seem to be able to do which i want or find it on this forum is open a folder. Dont need anything fancy. IE want to use WMP and then open my music folder to select tracks to play.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a thread if this has already been discussed somewhere else.
Ta much.

yip . Have managed to get girder to launch expllorer the same way the onlionehelp launches notepad. So when i press pf5 it pops up. The problem is my remote does not seem to launch it.I have downloaded gmls for the mouse control and have also downloaded the LUA plugin as well. I think i must just be missing one step or something.
Any ideas. I betting its something so small i am missing out but have followed guides to a T,
I do not have problems launching wmp9 and notepad in the same way so i know my remote is working fine
cheers

So, if you highlight the command, and press F5 it works but not from your remote...? Are maybe try relearning the event?

Your a true gent. Have managed to sort it out. Must have just been too tired last night. Think it was just conflicting with another button further up the tree. Have got it all working after about 10 mins.
Thanks :D

Great, :D
Would you mind sending your GML to the support address in the Girder about box with a brief (< 50 word) description. I think it would be a good example for us to point other users to.
Thanks,

Right ok. Almost there. Have used the mouse control GML and the windows 9 GML to get everything i want working. Have just ditched the explorer idea since realising there were other ways to access my music using the other gmls. Can still use this for other things though.
There is now just one last thing that i want to be able to do that i just cannot figure out. When i minize WMP9 to the small toolbar that shows in the system tray i then want to be able to restore it again but for some reason i cannot do this. I minamize using the "windows" "minamize" function and this works fine. Tried using restore but this does not seem to work. Could it be a problem targetting ???
Any ideas anyone.Thanks
