What new in the Serial 2.3 plugin?

What is new since 1.0? Everything. :smile:

Better support for multiple ports (import/export/remove) including "No port" to allow you to keep a device definition around but not have it take a COM port.

Intra-character and intra-command delays for transmit.

Timeouts and modem events for receive.

Take a look at the readme file.

EDIT: The readme contains a VERY short blurb about upgrading from 1.X. Basically, it SHOULD be backwards compatible.

Hey Ron

I am still using version 1.0 naughty I know but it just works so if it aren't broke....
automating my Quadscan and Barco, etc.

But I am going to upgrade things over the holidays so wondering what is new?

Also what are the issues and best approach for upgrading? I am currently on ME for my HTPC.
