I have tried v975 on the PPC and it works just fine, but on Win32 it doesn't seem to load the footer image.
I have tried moving the footer all over the place....no joy.
I have tried making the footer image the same as the footer image....no joy.
What am I doing wrong? -Carl

All the images should be in the same directory as the skin ini file. Can you send me the skin ini and all of the images so I can double check that they're loading okay? The footers are working for me in Win32.
Thanks!

Ben - just installed your v98 and used the skin you sent with it, and the images that came with it.... still don't have a footer image.
Could it be registery? Let me know how I can help run it down... -Carl

Very strange. The skin you sent me worked as expected.
Has anyone else noticed anything strange with the Win32 version and it's dealing with skins?

Ben, got any ideas what I can do to help debug or diagnose?
Could it be the directorys where I have things stored? It is pretty spread out.... Maybe I should move the stuff to one directory closer to the root? Could it be a limit on the length of the path for the footer image?
Let me know, I'm here to work.... -Carl

Ben - by putting all fo the files (except for the CCF) in the same directory it works. By that I mean, the footer shows up.
So it seems to me that you are loading the footer image differently than the header. If the images are in the same directory as the program, then it works. The header image can be located anywhere... at least that seems to be what I have seen. -Carl

Weird. As long as the footer image is in the same directory with the ini and the other headers, it should be fine.
Just double checked the code. It loads exactly the same. Very -very- strange.
You will -definitely- need to have all images in the same directory as the ini file, but that's the only requirement.

Ben - that is the way that I had it when it was NOT working. Programs in one directory, images and INI in another, CCFs in a third.
In that case, the footer image would not show. EVEN if I used the same image for header and footer.
BUT if I put the images, INI, and programs in the same directory then it works.

I just put a bit of debugging in to alert when it can't load an image box, with the path it -thinks- it's trying to load.
This will be released with the rest of the changes in the next week, Carl.
In the meantime, is anyone else having this problem?
