Is there a way to change the background colour in netremote from the default white.
I'm a NR newbie so bear with me.

Don't know if it's the right way, but I just create a new "frame" in a CCF panel in Tonto. Fill the frame with the right color, make it cover the full screen, and sent it to the back.
You may also be able to do it by messing with the NR skin, but I'm no skinner :).

The frame route would be the easiest - note that on the PPC any buttons will now have white boxes around them on the background since alpha transparency isn't supported yet.

Thanks guys for the quick reply.
I figured it out later on during the night about the frame trick but was not sure if it was the best way to go about it.
I also use Xara3d to create custom buttons an headers and so far it looks awesome.
It sure beats using netremote on a less powerfull homebuilt webpad than trying to use Mainlobby.
I now use Mainlobby as a Front end on my HTPC and use Netremote in full screen mode on the webpad.

Laz,
Xara3d (http://www.xara.com/products/xara3d/) looks interesting - any chance of a screenshot of your work for us to drool over ? How easy is it for design dummies to use? I never could understand button design in Photoshop or PSP.
We're going to be asking Ben for animated GIF support next? (duck )

I will send some screenshots once I get the page done.
BTW Xara3D is not free. You can download a demo version but it has an anoying Xara3d background you can't change till you buy it.
In Xara3D you can create animated buttons in Gif or swf format.
you can also create buttons really fast without much of a learning curve.
The only problem is you have to select from standard shapes like rectangle, square, round, oval, triangle, hexagon then you can modify it by applying different filters, lighting, background, text, shadows, ect.
The program was meant to create web page headers and custom buttons but I use it to make my own theme's in both Netremote and Mainlobby.
