My code is written, but untested (and I believe it won't work well, because of an arbitrary limit on raw IR codes).

Jon Rhees is supposed to be delivering a library (or code) to me that will make the UIRT work nicely, as well as giving us the heads up on what is required for the UIRT-USB passthrough support.

I know he's extremely busy with the UIRT-USB project, but I'll ping him again to see if he has anything to send me.

Ben,

I have both a UIRT2 and a USB-UIRT so I can do some testing. thinks have been crazy for me over the last week, but i hope to do some more testing later this week.

I assume you saw that Jon Rhees has published the USB-UIRT protocol specs. It's just a USB-RS232 converter chip with a souped up serial protocol.

I'm not trying to be a pest but I'm iching to get this thing rolling... since I have no job  I need to fill my time up with home projects and I'm about done with everything. Plus, I have not seen my UIRT for approx 6 months. I'm sure it misses me.

I have some docs from Jon now about UIRT-USB, but nothing on UIRT2.

I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger with what I've got, and send what I have off to brohebus or another UIRT2 user for testing.

The only problem is that I can only accept up to 25 burst pairs, which is pretty short. My dvd player remote sends 50 burst pairs.

Other than other bug fixes, getting some sort of UIRT support is now my first priority, along with resolving the new Girder feedback with Gavin.

Just wondering if you still have it or if you gave it to Dave to work on the project?

thanks
