Tonto section

I like the new groups! How about a section for Tonto questions? I don't want to turn this into a Tonto support board, but there are a number of extensions that Tonto now has that specifically support NR. Might help to keep those questions together.

Given the relative dropoff in Tonto-related questions, that makes sense. I'll work up a section of the FAQ related to NetRemote-specific areas of Tonto.

Where can I find some help on Tonto and NR?

I created a couple of CCF's after installing it and I want to learn how to load images or backgrounds and new button desings?

Are there any tutorials for this?

I think Zak has a bit of a tutorial that concerns Tonto, but I don't think it goes into images or backgrounds.

Sadly, no. One reason I originally kept a similar user interface to ProntoEdit was to minimize the learning curve and maxmize re-use of existing tutorials. Tonto has diverged far enough that decent documentation is warranted.

But rather than sink the time into that, I'm slightly more inclined to branch the Tonto code base and make a NetRemote specific version that drops a lot of legacy junk. Since code is my strong-point and docs are not, I would feel great warmth towards any individual willing to take on or spearhead that effort :-)
