unusual fault with NR and MJ

I have discovered an unusal fault in mj and nr. If i bowse my songs on my server im mj i have no problems all works fine. If I brouse by Genre in net remote then play a song its also fine but if I brouse by artist this crases my network, my server and removes the sound card drivers on the server. I have to then reinstall the drivers to get it up again. I was wondering if it is because i have around 5000 tracks and lots of artists on the server and nr doesnt like passing this much data back or if there is a workaround that anyone has found.

Any help will be apreciated.

I was running windows xp sp1 and it seemed that was the problem so i have installed win2000 advanced server all seem to be ok now working fine
