Ctrl+Enter will add a new line to the edit field.

The standard dialog accelerators (Tab and direction keys) have not been re-mapped to work in the edit field. The cut and paste accelerators (ctrl+insert, shift+insert, from Windows 1.0  or these NEW ones) have not been mapped.

Any of this could be done but would take time that I don't have right now.

With the OSD plugin 2.0 I've noticed the following weird behaviour when editing the message text box.

Pressing 'return' does not produce a newline, rather it changes focus to the 'OK', 'Cancel', etc button cluster.
Pressing 'enter' on the keypad brings up the 'Target Selector' window. (Pressing 'return' subsequent to this also brings up the 'Target Selector' window.)
Cursor keys do not work. Rather they are controlling the highlighted buttons in the Girder window.
Cut and paste hot keys 'Ctrl-C', 'Ctrl-V'
don't work, but at least the popup menu works.
Extended Windows characters such as 'Alt+0149' show up as black bars in the settings dialog. (These work on screen.)
'Tab' defocuses the message box. It would be handy to be able to insert a tab directly to allow alignment of columns of text.

For the newlines and tabs, a work around is to type up the text in notepad then cut and paste it.

It would be really nice if a future version of the OSD plugin supported unicode characters. This is desirable to provide enough font table space for characters and a range of audio visual icons.

This is all in Win2k sp2, I have not tested on other platforms.

That's cool. I worked around it by cutting and pasting. As I hadn't seen any note about these issues in the forums I was not sure if they were just Win2k issues, or if you knew of them. =)
