:( I hope that someone can help my with this problem.. :?:

My problem is that when i have started zoomplayer i would like to browse my divx files on my htpc. But the browse window should be on the pocketpc and not on the computer screen or at least in the background.. Can i do that.. I know i can do a network browsing on the pocketpc with the file explorer.. But that is not how i would like it.. I would like to create a playlist for the zoomplayer with the pocketpc.. I hope that you can understand what i mean.. coz my english is not that good.. Beside Netremote i'm also using Girder..

Maybe this will help.. This is how i would like my Htpc & pocketpc to work..

Playing divx & dvd

When i press a button on my pda i would like to start zoomplayer to start in fullscreen and with a picture.. I would then like to browse my files on pda but not on the computer screen.. When i have selected my files then zoomplayer should start.. If i then press pause i would like that zoomplayer shows a picture(fullscreen) and when i press play it starts the movie again.. i would also like to have the feature when i play dvd..

The only thing i can't get to work is the browsing..

This is what my LDJ (LUA DVD Jukebox) should do. Currently it is under repair, and netremote has evolved to a point where the old versions have stopped working, so there is nothing to see today - give me a few weeks and we should be back in business.

Originally LDJ was designed for DVD, but can really handle any media file that your playe (ZP in this case) can handle. Do a search for LDJ for more info and some screen shots.

Cheers, Gavin

p.s. Welcome to the forum!!! :D

TheEdge,

How far did you get? If you load up the sample CCF/GML in the feedback distribution, can you update teh labels - by testing the "Send Label" command?

The Feedback .lua file has to go in your .../girder/lua directory. You will also need to have the "Internet Events Server" and "LUA Events" plugins (as well as DVD Spy for later)..

If you have all those wokring, open up one of the variable manipulation scripts in the ZP GML and look in the bottom fram to see what errors you get.

Sorry this is all rather complicated. If you are running into problems, just give me details of which stage and any errors you are getting.

Cheers, Gavin

There stand in the frame "Plugin not loaded: (sendmessage) Available, but not loaded..

What am i missing :?: :?:

Hmm - sounds like the send message plugin for girder is messed up. This is needed for Girder to tell Zoomplayer what to do. Maybe the versions are mismatched.

I'm a bit lost for ideas - maybe the girder forums might have something.

Sorry - Gavin

I found the problem myself.. I forgot the send message plugin..
So now the netremote with the Garvin ccf work.. i can press play stop and all that.. But in the cff where you have the play stop pause buttons there is standing {ZP.TIME} what is that for.. coz it dosn't change

If you are seeing the {}'s, it sounds like you have an old NetRemote. The latest one is here: http://www.netremote.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1476#1476
See if that helps.

Okay, let's go back to the CCF/GML in the NetRemote feedback distribution. If you load those two, do they work? It's best to check the simple stuff.

Check the internet events server plugin for girder, and the girder plugin for NetRemote.
-- Make sure NetRemote send port is the same as Girder listen.
-- Make sure the passwords match
-- Double check the listen port on the NetRemote Girder plugin is not 0 (usually use 1023)

I got it to work now!!! I had not set the Listen port..
So how can i do this "I would then like to browse my files on pda but not on the computer screen.. When i have selected my files then zoomplayer should start.. " or is it not possible :?: :?:

Not yet - that is LDJ. My ZoomPlayer screen just controls the actively playing DVD. Hang in there!

Of course you can always have a button to bring up the ZP Media Library Navigator.

Brian, are you using the sample ccf or another one? How much memory is in your PDA?

I have seen this once or twice myself, and am trying to fix it.

Yes - I do too. I think some of the recent changed introduced some memory leaks. The PPC fails after about an hour for me (all the fonts and graphics disapear), and I have brought down my Win2k box after a day too.
This is all Beta so we can't expect too much :-P

Okay. I'm on it. I know there is one in there, I just have to find it. It sounds like it may be the same leak on both, but the Win32 system has (most likely) 256+ megs of ram versus a PPC's 32, so lasts "longer".

Duh - I just wrote this in the other thread here (http://www.netremote.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1627#1627).
100% agree with you.

I mean there is about 64mb of ram on my pda... And i have a 128mb cf card and 16mb sd card install also.. I'm using the Zoomplayer ccf

This is fixed in RC5. Memory leak in RC4.

RC5 will be available shortly.

When i play a dvd movie i get the run time on my pda.. But it dosn't shoe the run time when i play divx movies.. Does the "ZP time" on cff only works on dvd movies..

brockgr

Quite probably - I'm pretty new to DVD Spy, and I don't have any divx. I must admit I find DVD spy rather awkward. The feedback from ZP is very inconsistent.

If you do manage to get it to work, let me know and I'll put the code back into the distro.

"Gavub"? Have you changed your name? Slip of the fingers, huh?
Anyway, wouldn't it be possible to connect NR directly to the LCD output server of ZoomPlayer instead of going via DVDSpy? Or is that too difficult even for you? 8)

Mastiff - that is a good idea. I'll have to see if I can find a spec.

Yep - my typing sucks. Imagine my code if I can't even spell my name  .

BTW LDJ 0.21 (alpha) is now available here (http://www.netremote.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=224&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=)
