I dont know but if your Pocket PC is like mine (I have a 5450) i have to go to settings and then connections then firstly network adapters. In there i set up for the pocket pc's IP to be locked (It makes it much quicker to logon when you start up) Then go back and go in to connections in the connection settings. in there you have profiles. You need to make the profiles use your network wireless card to acess the network. I have three option boxes in there. the bottom one i set to work. then the two above that i build custom profiless so that it uses my network card to both connect to the internet and the network.

Hope i was some help cos i could have been completly off corse with what you wanted.

Make sure you have the "My network card connects to" setting in connections set to internet. That setting caused me a couple of hours of frustration. When you want to ActiveSync over 802.11 you need to have it set to work but for Internet it needs to be changed to the internet setting.

I assume you are seeing a link in the "settings/System/Wireless applet. If not , and you have wep shut off as you say then make sure your ssid is correct and the channel setting is the same as your access point. Also the "mode" needs to be set to Infrastructure.

I hope this helps.

Actually that depends. I have mine set to Work all the time (with "My network card connects to work" as well), and that "works" nicely. The Internet setting on my PPC is reserved for Internet via the Bluetooth cellphone. 8)

Well I have the exact e740 that AL Bertelson has and I have neverbeen ale to get the work setting to allow internet access. Maybe it is something I am doing wrong but after hours of fiddling I still can't get it to work.
