All right you people, you have me totally consumed by this application. I have spent almost $400 on sofwre and harware and loveit!!!

I bought a dell AXIM and MC9 ad m using NR. This is replacing a PRONTO so I just recently purchased a USB-UIRT, installed girder and downloaded some of the sample ccfs and gmls but am totally lost from there.

I want to controll my Sony Receiver (mainly volume) and my sanyo PLV-60HT projector and my girlfriend (just kidding).

How do I control these components with NR. I configured my own PRONTO so I have an idea.

Thanks,

RYAN

Have you talked to Jon Rhees yet about trying the USB-UIRT NRIRServ plugin?

If it works for you, then you should be able to use the exact same .ccf that you were using previously with NetRemote and NRIRServ.

If it doesn't, then you'll need to setup your .ccf to send events to Girder, and setup girder to fire the IR codes out to your receiver, projector, and girlfriend. :)

This will only work if your girlfriend can be controlled by infrared signals. But in my experience diamond signals are the only one that really works on those beasts...

However, the diamond signal has a limited lifespan. Once signal strength is diminished, you must add other signals to keep it (and yourself) alive.
