I was looking for a web forum to discuss Tonto. Is there one?
I'm having several problems with 1.43.
The largest one right now seems mundane but very problematic when designing panels.
When I try to paste and entire frame from one panel to another it only copied some of the buttons I had on the frame?
thanks!

I thought that was a feature  - I never thought of asking!!
One gotcha I worked arround was loading panels from one CCF to another. If you copy/paste a panel or device. You tend to lose a lot of the actions (especially the 'jump' ones). Always 'merge' CCF's - don't try to copy and paste them together).

Yes, there are a few things I'd like to see working, as well. You cannot shift click a bunch of buttons and copy and paste them all from one panel to another.
Regarding copying a frame and not having it copy, I'm willing to bet that the buttons you're missing weren't really on the frame. If you move the frame and the buttons don't move, they're not on the frame.
To fix this, select the button and cut it. Now select the frame and paste the button. This will paste the button into the frame.
I had some problems initially like that. Now I group all similar buttons together into a frame so that in the (likely) event that I want to copy it elsewhere, I can copy the group.
Regarding Merging ccfs - Thanks for the tip. I have had the problem of copying a panel and having it break all the jumps. In fact I think I've released a few demo ccfs with this happening. I'll merge from now on.

Guys, most of the Tonto support is over on www.remotecentral.com at Tonto Project thread (http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mboard/rc-pronto/thread.cgi?keywords=19733&highlight=support|tonto)

I got a reply from Stewart... he did say that some of the features were not yet working fully. I did figure out the frame problems were that the buttons were not "truly" on the frame.
Tonto is great and I appreciate all the hard work on it!
There are a few things that could make it really polished though that it is missing. Maybe it will be updated some day... and that darn Java engine sucks! Sorry for you Java lovers here but my JVM hangs ALL THE TIME and I have even updated to 1.4.x and it made it worse! It starts off by taking 99mb of RAM to run and can increase to 300!!! Not even bloated MS apps like MS Word or Excel do that! WOW!!! I'd like to think that it is not Tonto but just the POS JVM. It Tonto was only in C++ or something more stable. O well :(
All we need now is a Java to C# converter! ;-)

That Tonto Project thread on RemoteCentral is OLD and not used anymore. No posts for months... :?
