I'd like to not need install Girder to learn the IR codes from my remotes. Is this possible? I have Tonto, Netremote, and the USB-UIRT.

It's not possible yet. I am planning to at least get my IR learning piece built into NetRemote in the mid-future, as this is obviously a need. It's probably at least 60 days out, though, right now.
What I do (which is kind of lame, but what can you do?) is to use PDAWin's software to learn an IR code to another ccf, and then copy it off the PPC and copy and paste the IR code into my master ccf.
Like I said, it is lame, but it's easier, for now. This functionality will be built in in the mid-term future.

Ben,
That's cool... unfortunately I do not have a PPC and I'm not sure if my ePods1 (MIPS) will run PDAwin. Guess I will try it!
