For several reasons that I will not go into here, I am forced to use girder to send IR instead of passing the commands through NRIRServ. Anyhow, I played with girder for a while and I have to admit I am stumped.
How should I set up Girder? For each IR command do I have to tell it to go control EZ-Lean? (Scroll down to command, select command, click "try"button, etc)? Maybe a sample file would help.
thanks,
pete

How I've set it up in the past, and how my friend who is currently using my slinke for his NetRemote setup while my theater is "down" has it setup, is :
* Use ezlearn to create a .cde file for each device you want to control. When you name the IR codes, do not use spaces. Spaces through us for a loop in the beginning.
* Enable the slinke plugin in Girder.
* Configure the slinke plugin by adding devices (by browsing and selecting each .cde file).
* Configure an event by setting the target to the slinke driver, and pick the device and command.
That should be it.
If you only have a few devices, I recommend Girder for IR right now, as the slinke NRIRServ solution is not what I would call 100% stable right now.
