Ben - seems that if you configure the MC portion of NetRemote to use Xlarge imges, if you use the "next track" or "previous track" button the image doesn't get updated...
If you let the song come to its natural change over point, the images change just fine.
Strange....

Ben is already working on a fix for this as I had (have) the same issue.

Carl, do you also have images embedded in your music files?
XLarge images work okay for me with all of my image files on disk. If they are embedded, Sapnho has identified an issue that I need to resolve.

I was also having some occasional difficulties with large images not being updated. A very fun feature in my opinion is the ability to play a slideshow of images. I have a number of pictures from my 2MP digital camera (700KB average size). It now displays them perfectly with settings XLarge, 4 seconds per image. Win32 client.
maybe the 2-august release of remoteserver.dll?

Wow. Cool idea Maxtrash, I just tried it. Neat!
Unfortunately this means I'll need to do some work to keep the correct aspect ratio (right now I force it to whatever the target size is, irrespective of original aspect).

Yes Please!
I'm also using the cover art field to browse my Image collection (Photos) on NetRemote but they look funny without the correct aspect ratio. Maybe another field/option for New Tonto/NR Version?

Oh. Uh. Yeah. I talked to Jim and his team at J. River about the best possible way to get image navigation from the Pocket PC, and it took months to implement correctly. :)

How is MPEG/AVI/VOB support in MJ these days (I'm stuck on a dead evaluation so can't check)? A lot of what you are doing here is similar to LDJ. Could MJ do it for me?

I haven't used it much for that, but although the navigation is clean, the interface to control it directly through the MC API isn't really there yet.
Anybody using it for that, though?
