Hi,
I`m trying to install NetRemote on my Simpad SL4 running HPC 2000. I downloaded NetRemote-PPC2000-0.982.exe, installed it on the pad, checked all Registry entries and everything looks fine to me. But when I start the program I only get the message "Can`t find NetRemote or one of it`s components...".
What is wrong ? Is it possible to run NetRemote on the Simpad ? Should I upgrade the Pad to Windows CE .net 4.0 ? Should I use a different NetRemote.exe ? Are Components missing ?
Thanx for support,

Andrej

What directory do you have NetRemote in? If it's in anything else than the default (program files\NetRemote) I have heard of people having problems before.

"Netremote.exe", "default.gif", "netremote.log" and 6 .dll`s are in the "Program files/NetRemote" directory. The Folders "NRCCF" (with "netremote-demo.ccf"), "NRSkin" (with "standard.ini") and some bitmaps are in the "My Documents" folder. I think, this is the original insatallation...

Yeah. Then I'm out of ideas. Let's wait and hear from the authorities.

Hi andrej,

I believe Jeroen has some tips on this post:

Note that NetRemote on WinCE is fixed at 240x320 right now. Not for long, but for now that's the case.
