Assign IR Code Manually

The GUI doesn't allow that, but you can manually edit the .gir file.

Is there a way to assign an IR code manually? I've been unable to figure it out so far. Reason being I want to assign the secondary code that my remote seems to send (anti-repeat?) as a 'extended' function (like for volume, channel, etc.)

Well, right now I'm just holding my hand in front of the sensor, then quickly pulling it away after holding in the button for a bit. Works after a few tries :smile:.
