The only benefit WiFi has over BT is distance.
Why don't you try BT and if that works for you stick with it.

I definitely agree with Jc. Try bluetooth. Do a search here on bluetooth, as some people have had some difficulty, and some others have it working flawlessly.

well, I think it's worth considering performance as well.. I used BT for quite a while, but especially with MC lists and stuff the performance is way too slow. Wifi made things go a lot smoother.

I was looking at this HP PPC http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=H2215-R
Price seems resonable but it has blue tooth. Do I need a new wireless access point to make this work? How much shorter are the distances between wifi and bluetooth. And... has anyone else found that the speed is significantly slower??
Thanks, Mike

I believe you can use a bluetooth USB adapter to communicate between a PC and a Pocket PC with Bluetooth. It has CF, so you can always use a CF wireless card if need be.
If price isn't a major issue, I'm -very- happy with my 4155 ($400) that has built in bluetooth and 802.11b. It connects much faster than my Dell with the CF card (about 4 seconds vs. 10 seconds).
