Here is a converter.

Is it possible to control an AV (or not) device by NetRemote throuth this kind of converter via HTPC or direct via ethernet and WiFi ?
My goal is to connect it to an IR sender/receiver or RS232 controled device.
What do you think guys ?

I'm not sure this is what you mean, but I control my Barco Graphics 808 with NetRemote and Girder via Girder's generic serial plugin. Works like a charm. That should be the easiest way to do it, I think. Girder's download page has a bunch of serial setups as well.

Maybe a solution to be free of PC to control our devices.
RS232 and IR without a PC throuth Lan or wan via TCP/IP.
Could NetRemote drive this ?

Also, the GlobalCache device (http://www.globalcache.com) is supported in the new(er) version of NetRemote.
Theoretically if it's a simple enough tcp/ip protocol you could use the same "generic" driver to communicate with this device.

I use a ipEther232 [http://www.ipcas.com/products/image/serial-to-ethernet-converter.html]
with a RS232-IR receiver , to control my HTPC.
