How do I change the properties of NR on the Simpad? The fact is that right click doesn't seem to work in NR, whereas it works fine in other applications.
Please help!

Hey, somebody else must be having the same problem? Jeroen sent out so many Simpads, somebody must know how to right click in NR...
What I don't understand is that right clicking works in all other applications but not in NR :?
How do you set the IP address? Is there a config file where you can do it manually?
Mastiff, don't go to sleep yet! :P
Thanks!

No, I was watching a movie... I do the setup it with a registry editor, right clicking seems impossible for now.

And where would I do that under which key?
Thanks! :D

Off the top of my head it's either under local machine/software or current user/software. You need to add the drivers in advance, then you go in there and change the settings for the instance.

It's in current user\software. But, Tor - where do you get a registry editor for the Simpad? I can't find one that will run.

I'm having trouble getting a nice workaround for right clicking in the properties page.
Dave T. was going to try to emulate the tap and hold from the Pocket PC, so hopefully that will work well, as well.

I've been able to resolve this - but it's kind of ugly. Bottom line is the Simpad needs a -lot- of hacks to get working right.
The hack is that you'll need to select a node first, then click the button to the right of power. I've learned that this is not a "right click toggle" that I once thought it was. It's a "menu" key. And you can't get the x,y position of a click and check to see if it's down.
So you need to select a node, then tap the menu key. It works, anyway.
Now I'm having extreme problems with the web browser object, that I think may be related to all of the hacks to get the Simpad to run PPC code.

Hi,
i'm a silent reader of these pages for quite a while and find this project very interesting.
I, myself, use the remote desktop of Windows XP pro to remotely control my HTPC with my SimPad.
It seems to me, that you have difficulties to do a "right-click" on the SimPad, so i will try to explain how to do it quite easily.
1. Bring up the software-keyboard (with the hardkey situated under the roud fourway-switch).
2. Click the (left) ALT-key. It will stay active.
3. Click the item you are interested in - the "right-click-menu" will appear.
4. Do your selection.
5. Click the (left) ALT-key again to disable it, because it will stay active and will block certain activities otherwise.
That's all!
I hope it will do it for you. On my SimPad this is always working.
Regards,
Fred
