H2 toggle between cross-fade and no-fade?

Is it possible to change the MC settings via NR from just gapless play to smooth fading? There are playlists when the normal gapless setting is fine, but there are others where I'd like to crossfade the tracks.

With Girder you probably can. You can create a multigroup that closes MC, imports a registry file with the correct setting (if that setting is in the registry, I'm not sure where it is) and restarts MC.
