Hi,
I have just build my UIR and use girder software to run it. I can initialize the UIR, but the software cannot receive IR signal. I have check the hardware and found out that it can receive IR signal and the IR signal is sent out from pin 5 of pic12c509 succesfully (this is when i did not connect it to the pc Com port, but use and independent power supply). However, when i connect it to the com port, no signal come out of pin 5(RX) and pin 7(TX)(the signal there is always low), and the software keep on showing no IR signal receive. Is it cause by pc setting problem, can anyone help. The thing is that the
