Yes and No.
If you install it via Win98 then the IrDA will be allocated a COM port which will then work with IrDA driver in Girder. Note however that IrDA is and was NOT designed for domestic remote controls. I suggest using the IrMAN.
If you have Win 98SE, ME, 2000 or XP then your out of luck as Microsoft removed IrComm from the drivers.
