Send NetRemote status to server creates extreme lag

I thought my WLAN in the carputer was slow and messy, since it took 10 seconds just to show the regular stuff in my JRMC page (track name, number, minutes and so on), but it turned out that having checked Send NetRemote status to server when the IR pass through computer isn't on the network creates a lag that almost kills JRMC contact. Does this really have to be there at all?

Was this checked by default (for some reason)?

This is something that I believe only Dave T. is using at the moment, but I'll check to see if it can better handle the server not being up. I think I know what's going on, so I'll get back to you.

For now, obviously unchecking the option (as you've done) will fix it.
