What version are you running ? I think it is asking for the sendmessage plugin.

Make sure you tick the sendmessage plugin in Settings/Action Plugins.

I went and downloaded the needed .dll file from ati and registered it on my XP system. I'm using a AIW radeon, and have the latest drivers and MMC 7.2

I also grabbed the premade ATI MMC group which is very well made.

However, when I try to test the actions, I get an error stating: cannot find Softplugin.

I grabbed the latest Sendkeys, and restarted thinking that was it, but no dice. any idea what the "Softplugin" is?

thx,

Joe

sorry, thats what I meant....not sendkeys.

I'm using the latest sendkeys that I could find (1.51).

the girder is 3.24pre5

do I have to do anything special to enable the sendMessage 1.51? After I copied that .dll to the software directory, I restarted girder, reloaded the ATI group, and reprogrammed the remote to it. Still get the same error.

note: I'm using Naveed Mirza's copy

ideas?

I'm having the same problem with ATI TV 7.1

Specs:
ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon
Win98SE
WinLRC 0.6.1pre2
Tried both versions of Girder that are available for download.
SendMessage 1.51
Packard Bell Fast Media Remote

The remote works great for every other program I've used it for (WinAmp, ATI DVD etc) but if the ATI TV 7.1 is running, the system (WinLIRC) doesn't even see me pressing buttons on the remote..

Anyone got some tips?
