Try enabling all the plugins one by one and determine which one is causing the crash.

Mark is very busy, please do not bother him, if he does not react that means that he doesn't have time for bugfixes. Believe me if he had time he would help. For now I can release the source if anyone is interested in it.

What version of Girder are you using?

I use Windows XP and Girder and have no problems.

Please post some more details so we can assist you further.

Girder version ?
XP Version. Home or Pro?
The hardware devices you have enabled?

Sorry. I thought you were talking about the Generic Serial IR Receiver (Generic IR (UIR) from Valery Karkachev).

Could someone confirm which Generic Serial plugin this is?

I'm just glad it wasn't me.

I have a similar problem. On closing girder it always crashes, happens in XP and most of the time in win98se.

It is definetly the Generic Serial IR plugin.
Crashes girder when you remove it even.

I have the same problem with error while closing Girder and I think I isolated the problem: Generic serial based IR Receiver. This plug in causes the error. I receive the same error even when I try to disable it. I didn't contacted the author yet because I wasn't shure if it's my fault.

Does anybody have a solution?

I've tryed to contact the author by e-mail but still have no response (third day). So Ron if you have a better way to contact him or even if you can do some fixes would you please give it a try?

Does anyone have a fix to an access violation error that occurs when trying to close Girder via an automated process?

I tried using the windows scheduler to start and then close Girder and I got the access violation when it tried to close.

I then tried putting a close girder window action in my multi-command. I got the same access violation error.

Anyone know of a fix or a work around?
