Right guys, any feedback would be great......this is driving me crazy.

I have been happily using Netremote with my iPAQ PDA, only for music playback through Media Center, but I would like to use the PDA for ZoomPlayer control also and I cannot figure it out or get it to work.

I know that Netremote doesn't directly support ZP (yet) like it does MC, that you have to use Girder and possibly DVDspy plugin?

I am using the PDA CCF at the moment. I have Girder 3.3.1c installed and enabled (afaik) on the HTPC. I have imported the PDA GML file into Girder (but not sure if I have done everything properly). I have Girder minimised, Media Center open and ZoomPlayer open on the HTPC.

Would someone be kind enough to explain everything, including what you do with the GML file, how you install any pluggins if necessary? Alternatively, please point me in the direction of where I can find materials to read about this. I have been searching for hours on end, but to no avail....I think it accounts for my somewhat newbie status concerning all this stuff!

Thanks in advance.

Mark.

Mark,

As of last week, NR (0.993) *does* now support direct control of Zoom Player (version 4.0). Look for the Zoom Driver in the NR Download / User Files section.

This is a *much* simpler solution than using Girder and (in particular) DVDSpy). Try the demo CCF first and then post any questions.

Thanks Brian, I'll give it a try.
