This is going to sound stupid but ...
Why not dump that PB POS and get an IRMan from Evation?
Oh well. Best of luck.

I have been having some a little trouble with my Packard Bell remote. When you hit a button once it acts like you hit that button twice. So when you try to pause it pauses and then plays again. Or volume goes up more than you want. Anyways does anyone have the new Igor plugin for this remote. I was having trouble getting it from this website.

That is the same one that I am using. Does anyone know why it would send a double pressed button when I hit the button?

I have tried adding the delay commands, but it still seems to thing the button is hit more than once. I don't know what the deal is with it. I even tried using WinLIRC and the plugin it does the same thing.

I am also having trouble with buttons being sent more than once. It doesn't appear that the PB remote is sending more than once, but Girder is acting like it received two copies of the button press.
I am having a problem with a TV player program. Every time I try to click the up channel button, it receives two clicks and goes up two channels. I figure the answer is somehow related to the anti-repeat command, but I am too new to have figured it out yet.

OK, I've taken the time to play with it. I took the "left" and "right" button commands (which were the ones that were being duplicated) and added a 500ms antirepeat delay and the commands now work perfectly. This doesn't work for all commands. If I add the delay to the up/down/left/right mouse movement button, the mouse responds way too slowly.

I second Marks notion, and as a matter of fact that is exactly what I just did. Just waiting for the IR man to arrive

This is the same problem i am having but i cannot seem to get this figured out. It does it with every remote i have used so far and im almost ready to give up on using Girder, i really like the program but i think i might be wasting my time if there is another solution out there for the packard bell remote control. If anyone has any suggestions for this please let me know. I have posted before about this but havnt really gotten any help yet.
Thanks
