OK - saw that NR LE 1.0 is now available. Cool. But looking at the version chart, I'm a little confused as to versions actually support what. For example, the following:

Sends Infrared (IR) to PC IR Server X
Two way control of GlobalCache device X
Two way control of Zoom Player X
Two way control of Girder X

These all require the NR PRO version. Does that mean the LE version simply doesn't include these plugins at all? Or maybe it does, but somehow they're limited to one-way control? Can someone clarify? Thanks!

Just curious how far off the NR Pro is going to be? Do you expect to release it soon or is it going o be a while?

TIA

Jim - The LE version only comes with the MediaBridge plugin, allowing for direct control of JRMC. I understand the confusion over the "two-way control", and I'll see if we can reword it a bit.

If you need control of anything in addition to JRMC, I recommend you stay with the 0.996 version until NetRemote 1.0 Pro trial is available, as registering LE will lock NetRemote from loading anything other than the one MediaBridge plugin.

Unfortunately the 30 day trial for all versions is using the same date and time, so you've been running 0.996 for more than 30 days (with your previous code), and the new version uses a new code scheme.

Govnah - The pro version is taking a little bit longer closing out some bugs and finishing documentation, which is why the trial is not available now. We're contemplating allowing for people to purchase codes and download 1.0 pro now with the understanding that's it's not final, and that they will get free upgrades to 1.0 pro final.

I will also gladly pay the money for the pro version, even though it is not final. I was VERY excited seeing 1.0 was released, but then bummed that the pro version was not released. Tease!! :D

It will be shortly,

We are working to fix a few small bugs and some IR issues. Plan is for early next week. Note: we are releasing this early due to demand and under the proviso it really is still in beta...

The following items are still being completed with Pro

* NRIRServer stability
* Direct Infrared learn finalization
* Possible socket issue on PPC resume (for some users)
* Completion of documentation
* Completion of installation program (to install Girder, etc.)

If you would like to buy now (and be updated to the complete version when available), we're happy to make it available via this forum.

Please let me know, and I'll post the information later today.

All - I need to tie one issue up with Mike and Matt and I'll have something available for you to preorder / try today.

Okay.

We have decided to make NetRemote Pro 1.0 available if you choose to try it before it is formally released.

To do so, please send me an email or PM. I will add you to the prerelease group (so you can see the prerelease forum and download the newest version) and send you a link to purchase a registration code.

Thanks!
