Can you use multiple UIRT on same machine 4 different zones

I was wondering if you can run 2 or more uirt's to handle zone routing ie to flash differnet commands based on location of recieved ir - so a different set of commands for each unit.....

eg receive command from kitchen and send ir to it's amp in cabinet

recieve ir from homwtheatre and send ir to different amp

This would allow me to have multiple zones of ir recieving and routing

or can this be done with one uirt by directing the ir to one of it's ports only?

Can it support input from a Xantech IR receiver or block with multiple recivers?

The UIRT will work with the Xantech and the IR linc from smarthome. I don't know about your other questions.

Perhaps a stupid suggestion, but I have solved that by using different remotes in the different rooms (old VCR remotes, computer remotes and so on).
