This is a known issue with windows.

Its something that I cannot control sadly.

Did you try alternative proc ?

Try adjusting the target that you sent to, maybe a child window, or maybe not childwindow, experiment.

That is exactly the problem. The application asynchornously checks the CTRL key, thus after girder sends the key the program checks to see if the control is physically down. And that is a little problem, cause Girder cannot press the control for you. Alternative Proc does this by attaching to the other program but it can only stay attached for so long.

Of course you realise that we have a plugin for the Media Jukebox... then you don't even need to use the keyboard sending routines.

Never mind, I mixed up Media Jukebox with Musicmatch Jukebox.

I've already had this pb... (with space bar key), and "Alternative proc" resolve that pb..

So i think this is the same pb you've got.

Anyone else had any problems sending special keys to apps?

Scenario: Trying to setup a remote girder command to pause MusicMatch Jukebox 7; the shortcut key for which is PAUSE.

I have setup and successfully tested the command in girder, and learned it to a CTRL-PGDN keypress on my IR keyboard.

Problem: When I ctrl-pgdn on keyboard, the command is sent (light in girder taskbar flashes and correct code in status bar is sent), but nothing else happens to MM jukebox (no pause).

I have successfully learned another command to ctrl-pgup, so I assume the keyboard is working.

Is there any issue sending special keys to apps? ( I am using the latest keyboard ex driver).

Any help much appreciated.

Regards,
-Dan

I have same problems... I'm using WinME (Girder 3.0.25) and want to send f.e. CTRL+T to a program
The problem is, that the CTRL-button is not always sent (sometimes working)... if I just send a T with Girder and send the CTRL using my keyboard, it's all functioning perfect to the program.

Is this a known bug? As I noticed the problem must be same using "Alt" or "Shift"... A solution for the problem was, to send CTRL with many t's, but this just functions for strings (not for special keys like "ENTER").

Maybe this bug is fixed already in a newer release, please tell me then!

I made very many tests already... actually, i'll try again, but i really think, it's a strange problem, cause, when i click the strg-button on the keyboard and send the string with girder, it's working perfect.

What a plugin? What's that Media-Jukebox? I also didn't find a download for that plugin.
And my problem is not solved yet...
