The website listed above is down. I waited patiently until after the 30th. Can someone please send me the Hotkeys XP software?
Also, is there any way to disable Grider's internal hotkeys? I want to bind the F5 key to a Girder command, and this causes confusion and problems when I forget to close the Girder window and so F5 triggers "test command."

Well I just went through this myself and was able to get it working fine. First of all I have the Rapid Access I. I don't know if yours will vary. You are going to need the NT driver for the keyboard (Available from I.B.M.'s website). You are also going to need a freeware program called "Hot Keys XP". I am at work and do not have the exact websites available to me. If you cant find either of them let me know. Anyway, install the Hot Keys xp program then extract the ibm driver to a directory in your C: drive. Go to device manager and update the driver for the keyboard. Use the "Have Disk" method and point to the NT subdirectory where you extracted the Rapid Access Driver. XP will cry and issue warnings about installing the non-compatible driver but go ahead. Once your system reboots you can assign hot keys through Hot Keys XP. You do not even have to install the IBM rapid access driver but you can if you want to. It doesn't work too well in XP though. Let me know if you need more info.

Well as I said before...You can remove the rapid access software and it still functions fine. Just adjust the settings in Hotkey XP. For example to set volume up click that in hotkeyxp and hit the appripriate key on the keyboard. In hotkey Xp the keystroke will fill with ??? but it will work fine. I too have an exclamation mark next to my ps/2 mouse but the mouse functions perfectly. I don't use stand-by or hibernate on this computer so I cant tell you if it works or not.

Thanks, my keyboards now can work under WinXP. it can work without Hot Keys XP. You can use Girder to make it work. But I still have some problems with it. When I install it, my PS/2 mouse have an exclamation mark before it, and my computer can't enter Hirbernation and Standby like before. And when I press Volume +, the sound muted, when I press prog4 button, the sound decrease. I don't know how to solve these problem. I still work on it. If you can solve those, please let me know. (I also have the IBM rapid access keyboard I like you)

Hey, if you're using Girder, you can use it to control the MM key without using Hotkey XP=>help you save your PC resource, right? But I will try Hot Keys XP to find out which is better.

I foget to tell you that if you want the Mute LED light when mute, you can use the Rapid Access prog. When use that prog you must use KeyboardEX plugin to block the extra button from sending to system
