hi,

i just bought a dell axim x3i in order to control meedio/tv central via netremote/wlan.

it seems (after reading throu the formus) that i still have to use girder since there is no direct netremote <-> meedio plugin. am i right?

so i have to use girder as a "linker" in the middle. correct?

does anyone have hints/tips, gml or whatever files to make my "start" easier?
does anyone have a ccf with a working girder/meedio link? just for learning how it works.
how do i have to configure netremote/girder/meedio to work with each other?

huh, a lot of questions. ;-)
hopefully you guys can help me & the money for the axim isnīt wasted.

thanks in advance
chris

Chris,

At this time, you will need Girder to bridge NR to Meedio.

I believe someone at Meedio was working on a way to send data to and from Girder. I can't help much with that end of things..

wow. u are fast! ;-)

yes there is a girder client (recieves msg from girder) and girder server (sends msg to girder) plugin.

but how do i get the infos from netremote via girder "into" that plugin?`

are there any configs, scripts etc. available which i could use or where i can at least learn from?

:D

The NR demo shows how to talk to Girder. You basically are just going to use Girder pass info back and forth. Have a look at the example files and the PDF file for NR. Then post here with questions..

Hi,

I do it with myHTPC. If you scout around on meedio forums you can get a gml, and use the girder plugins.

Be warned, you may get put off meedio! I own a licence key, but cannot be bothered, the more I use Girde / Netremote, the less I want to set it up...

It should be fairly easy.
